The idea for a portable interface for the finger arose while experimenting with the touch controller script by Tristan Schulze. The touches are read out and visualized with a micro controller. The embroidered surface of the thin fabric invites you to touch it.
The wearable is a 10 DEN nylon fabric, which was embroidered with conductive MADEIRA thread from Statex. I used decorative stitching techniques and textile glue for insulation.
